The subtle craft of furniture restoration has often been unfairly maligned. This is largely due to the fact that the only restoration ever to receive attention is that which is done incompetently. When done well, the work will not be noticeable to any but the most highly trained eye, and can only enhance the value and appearance of the piece. To this end, I use only the best quality materials, period timbers and veneers (of which I have a large stock), and all the techniques used are essentially traditional and hand based.
